Still Life!

Well, after all still life is cool to do. Fun fact is that, probably, i need to do things wrong, screw everything up, and try again to get some results. Let's try do those more times!

Phil Hale value control excites me. Really need to study more this guy!

More Values!

I did those value studies. One based in Izzy Medrano and other in Steve Huston. Values still killing me and i need to find better ways to paint them.

NC Wyeth.

I decided to learn more about storytelling. So, for this, there are a lot of american illustrators to study from. Here goes the last. I should spend more time rendering those stuff.

Color and value study.

I'm mainly doing traditional drawing studies, but here goes the last i did in digital, focusing in color variation and value control. Study based in Robert Liberace (Awesome painter!).

Jeremy Mann Color Study.

Well, i didn't get my materials for still life. So, to still study some painting, i decided to tackle some color study of this great painter (yeah, i really like his work). I started with color directly, shapes and blobs. It was tough, i missed some temperatures, values and accuracy. My main struggle is to see the right value within the color. It's far from something good, but served to show me that good structure leds to eficiency. Tomorrow, maybe i'll do some Sargent study, starting with a solid drawing.
